Since April 2024, we have been welcoming our guests to the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk in Munich Aubing on 20,000 square meters and awakening their enthusiasm. From the extraordinarily diverse cultural program, which includes concerts of all music genres (from classical to techno), parties, family performances, talk formats, lectures and much more. From the fine arts, which we exhibit on an extraordinary amount of space. Of the quality and modern variety of food with which our gastronomy outlets (the casual fine dining restaurant Zeitlang, the Anima day bar, our live club Barbastelle, the outdoor terrace and the beer garden) cater to every taste. And from the flair that the Bergson exudes as an exclusively bookable venue for private and corporate events with its hyper-flexible room concept, state-of-the-art technical equipment and architectural beauty.

For our Convention & Event Team, we are therefore looking for a full-time, permanent position as soon as possible to strengthen our team

Convention & Event Operations Coordinator (m/f/d)

• You plan and organize events with up to 1,800 guests, including the independent calculation of drinks, the necessary equipment and the required service team
• As the operational manager on site, you are responsible for the perfect implementation of all event and service processes and inspire our corporate and private customers with your service and guest orientation
• You brief and manage the event service team with personnel responsibility for up to 50 employees (permanent staff, working students and temporary staff)
• Both in preparation and during the event, you are a competent contact person for our customers and guests as well as a close interface to the C&E sales, F&B, kitchen, logistics and all other service providers for the event
• You prepare events and work with all the trades involved in the team to further develop our events

• As a passionate host, you have an irrepressible desire to inspire our customers and guests with your high quality awareness and confident, warm demeanor of our Bergson Kunstkraftwerk as a first-class event venue
• You have a relevant degree (e.g. in tourism, hotel or event management) and/or have completed training in the catering, hotel or event business (e.g. event manager, hotel manager) or a comparable qualification
• You have professional experience in the upscale event sector, ideally from a similar position, and have already demonstrated your organizational, communication and leadership skills, commitment and enjoyment of direct customer and guest contact
• You have a talent for organization and are a convinced team player, can motivate and inspire your event service team, always keep an overview in hectic situations and ensure the satisfaction of our customers and guests in a structured and solution-oriented manner
• You are fluent in German and English and are familiar with the common Microsoft 365 applications
