"Reflections of Bergson"

In our "Bergson Artists Spotlight" series, we would like to regularly introduce you to individual members of our Bergson Artists. The Bergson Artists are around 100 hand-picked musicians, composers and creatives from the Munich scene, with whom the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk realizes many exciting in-house productions. You can also book them for private events or company celebrations! This time we would like to introduce you to Leo Betzl.

As is usual with our pianists, Leo owns several cars and motorcycles and is undoubtedly the beer sommelier of the Jazzrausch Bigband. Thanks to his great love of American supercars, he can now drive at least as fast as he can play the piano - there's no other competition in sight. In any case, Leopold has already demonstrated enough artistic taste. None of us are currently aware of any music, jazz or even piano prize that he has not yet won. If only a few more of us could play our instruments at the same level as Leopold and at the same time remain modestly silent, the Jazzrausch Bigband would have long been a successfully listed company.

Experience the impressive solo piano performance Reflections of Bergson, played by Leo Betzl: a live concert recorded in our atrium, the 25 meter high former boiler hall of the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk. This album captures the magic of the moment and transports the listener into a sound world of intensity and touching depth.

Known for his innovative and virtuoso piano sounds, the award-winning pianist and Bergson artist Leo Betzl combines improvisational freedom with profound sound aesthetics and creates a sonic painting between minimalism, jazz and modern classical music with each piece.

A great tip for anyone who wants to be carried away by atmospheric and moving piano music.
