Tranquilla Trampeltreu- school performance

The Bavarian State Orchestra and singers from the State Opera will tell you two musical stories about very special animals at the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk: the story of Tranquilla Trampeltreu, the persistent tortoise who is determined to go to King Leo's wedding and sets off, even though no animal she meets on the way believes that she will arrive in time. And the story of the lindworm, who is not at all soft and quiet, but loud and rumbling, and the butterfly, who never wants to flap about, but flutter quietly and peacefully. Perhaps one can help the other to come up with a better name?
These two stories were the brainchild of two people from Munich: the writer Michael Ende, who also wrote the books Jim Knopf, Momo and The Neverending Story, and the composer Wilfried Hiller, who, together with his friend Michael Ende, has repeatedly written music for children.
Director Catharina von Bülow will bring the story to the stage. Catharina had a lot of pets as a child: fish, two budgies called Niko and Sam and a cat called Gregor, and she would also have loved to have had a rabbit. Her favorite animal today is the elephant, because not only can he reach everywhere with his trunk, but he can also use it to wave.

At Bergson Kunstkraftwerk, we would like to set a strong example for cultural education and cordially invite your school to our school concerts at Elektra Tonquartier. These concerts, specially designed for children and young people aged 4 to 15, offer young people a unique opportunity to experience live music up close. Music plays a crucial role in the development of young people, but the amount of music education on offer is decreasing all the time. Our aim is to counteract this trend.
We cordially invite you to join us!
What can your students expect?
- The concerts are specifically tailored to the needs and interests of kindergarten children and schoolchildren and offer an unforgettable experience in a unique concert hall.
- The offer is free of charge for you, i.e. teachers and pupils. Our chair patrons cover the costs.
