For night owls, the spotlights come on in the basement when it gets dark outside: In the Barbastelle live club, bands can heat things up, comedians can go on tour, book readings, talks, in-house productions and exclusive events can take place.

In the basement of the Bergson, where Munich's subculture scene used to hold hot raves and the youth of Aubing paddled rowing boats in knee-high water or skated in winter, you will now find our live club Barbastelle. A location that combines the homely coziness of a jazz club with a casual, stylish ambience.
The name comes from our most demanding roommate. She is hardly ever seen, she only lives in the 60m2 loft built especially for her, including the pool, in winter and a team of biologists regularly looks after her well-being. We are talking about the extremely rare pug bat, known in Latin as "Barbastella barbastellus". It lives very close to the Live Club, which is why it gave the Barbastelle its name.
The chic furnishings and pleasant lighting in the historic vaults immediately create a relaxed atmosphere. For a casual end to the day, the transition from a demanding conference to an exuberant party or even an exclusive concert, it is the ideal place for you and your guests. We will be happy to assist you in selecting suitable music acts and make you offers from our artists' card index in the fields of music, comedy, literature or cabaret.
Thanks to the direct connection to our main kitchen, you can enjoy high-quality food in the Barbastelle even late at night. Our live club leaves nothing to be desired for night owls!
