The Song of the Earth - A musical performance reflecting on 80 years since the end of the war
Eine musikalische Performance als Reflexion zu 80 Jahren Kriegsende

We remember - and encourage.

This musical theater evening touches and looks forward at the same time. We play, sing and recite texts, songs and music for you that were once considered "corrosive", defamed as "degenerate" and banned. Today we want to celebrate them as a treasure of a suppressed world of sound.

The voices of those who were expelled will be heard. Their works: once erased, now in the spotlight.

Hollywood, Broadway, contemporary classical music - much of what shapes the world stage today began in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s. In a musical landscape that was more vibrant than ever before - until it was brought into line.

Between great entertainment, swinging rhythms and classical depth, a sound panorama unfolds that breaks boundaries and opens hearts.

At its heart is a love of the world, of nature, of life, of diversity.

An evening that combines remembrance, emotion and sound - and that perhaps sings a little piece of hope into the world.
