Since time immemorial, cancer has been considered an invincible disease - a fate that has meant fear, pain and often death. But a scientific turning point is imminent: groundbreaking findings in modern cancer research are making the seemingly impossible tangible - the end of the era of cancer.
Dr. Hanna Heikenwälder, molecular biologist and leading cancer researcher, gives a deep insight into the development of cancer and the fight against it. She shows why understanding the development of cancer is the key to prevention. She has also worked out what small changes in everyday life can have a big impact and how the future of cancer research will prolong - and perhaps save - lives.
An evening that gives confidence, brings clarity and makes scientific findings tangible - for sufferers, relatives and anyone who wants to understand how knowledge can change lives.
