Hardly any other constellation in music history has occupied musicologists as much as the friendship between three of the most important personalities in Romantic music: Clara and Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms. Numerous speculations about the affection between Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms, often only readable between the lines of their letters, give reason to take a closer look at this extraordinary relationship.

The poetry of their music reflects the human condition - longing, vulnerability, closeness. It opens up a space for dreams, desires and inner movement.

This program features not only works by the three composers, but also excerpts from their correspondence. They allow an intimate look at their personal and artistic connection.

Viktor Soos was born in 1996 in Backnang, Swabia. With this personal program at Bergson, he not only presents music, he also places great musical personalities in a lively dialogue, creating a triptych of romanticism, poetry and biographical drama.
