Peterchen's Moon Ride – A Children's Concert by the Bergson Artists

In the middle of the night, Mr. Sumsemann the cockchafer knocks on Peterchen and Anneliese’s window—and suddenly a fantastic adventure begins. Together they fly through the starry sky, meet the Night Fairy, dance on the Star Meadow, and travel all the way to the moon. There, they aim to do nothing less than retrieve the Sumsemann family’s lost sixth leg.

Composer Alexander Krampe has set Gerdt von Bassewitz’s famous story to music full of charm, poetry, and affectionate wit. The Bergson Artists and Maximilian Maier, as singer and narrator, bring it to life—in the hope that, in the end, plenty of stardust will linger in the ears of young and old alike.
