Obsolete Model: The Catholic Church?!
An Evening with Tobias Haberl, Michael Mandlik and Peter Seewald
Auslaufmodell: Katholische Kirche?!
Is the church at the end - or at the beginning? An evening about change, faith and social relevance

The Catholic Church is under pressure as rarely before: loss of trust, dwindling membership and profound social changes are calling its role in today's world into question. Many are turning away, others are holding on to it - and still others are looking for new forms of faith and community. But is the church really an obsolete model or is it in the midst of a necessary transformation?

A special evening with Tobias Haberl, Michael Mandlik and Peter Seewald is dedicated to these questions. The three speakers bring different perspectives from journalism, social analysis and personal experience of faith. Together, they will shed light on where the church stands today, what it has lost and what its lasting significance might be.

The evening invites an open discussion - beyond buzzwords and simple answers. It is aimed at believers and doubters, critics and anyone who wonders what role religion and the church can still play in the future.

About the speakers:
