Luca Kieser presents "Simsalabim, Simon Brenner" at Bergson
We welcome author Luca Kieser for the presentation of his novel "Simsalabim, Simon Brenner" at Bergson. You can expect a sophisticated, daring story with a double bottom, between true crime and radical left-wing telenovela.
Things are boiling at the universities. Protests are flaring up more and more often. Then the first lecture halls are occupied and it's not long before Simon Brenner is also on the barricades. After completing an apprenticeship as a locksmith, he had actually only wanted to continue his studies in Heidelberg, but now he was organizing himself into increasingly radical groups, turning up at demonstrations wearing a black mask and travelling to Berlin for the First of May - he finally felt he had arrived. The only problem is that he is being paid. In reality, he is a police officer, an undercover investigator from the LKA, who has to keep a record of his new friends and keep his emotions under control.
