Opera at the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk for the first time! More precisely, in our atrium, the gigantic boiler hall of the former heating plant. You can experience students from the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding together with the Bergson Artists when they bring the wonderful music of Franz Schubert's opera fragment Lazarus to life!
Dying, getting up, living on - how do you deal with your own mortality? Franz Schubert's Lazarus (1820) ends before the resurrection, Barrabas despairs of the gift of life in Richard Frances The Blind (2013). Director Martina Veh and composer Alexander Strauch combine the fragments and ask about guilt, redemption and justice in a world torn apart.
Please note: There is limited seating if required, but no fixed seating!
