Can you make a pact with beats? In this unique techno radio play, the poetry of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe meets pulsating electronics, dark soundscapes and driving rhythms. Between club and catastrophe, Faust, Gretchen and Mephisto are transformed into the voices of a present that longs for meaning and yet loses itself in the frenzy.

"Goethe's Breakdown" is not a retelling, but a radical repositioning. Leonhard Kuhn's adaptation and the interpretation of the Jazzrausch Big Band turn Faust into a work that makes us listen and dance between seduction and despair.
