Francesco Tristano: piano 2.0
Francesco Tristano live at Bergson - piano & electronics between Bach and techno

"Music is music." This was the answer Alban Berg gave George Gershwin in Paris in the spring of 1928 to make it clear that there is no difference between so-called "educated" music and "popular" music. Francesco Tristano has internalized this quote in his work over the last ten years. He combines piano and synthesizer, moves between the scores of Johann Sebastian Bach - as well as Frescobaldi, Berio, Buxtehude, Stravinsky and Gershwin, to name but a few - and uses the latest production tools.

Francesco Tristano is an artist of many talents: Pianist, composer, techno and jazz musician who combines eras, genres and styles in his music. He has become a central figure in a new movement, exploring with you the creative connection between classical and electronic music. In doing so, he naturally draws an audience from different worlds into his own universe.

After two acclaimed guest performances in 2024 and 2025, we are delighted to welcome Francesco Tristano back to Bergson this year, this time on piano and electronics.
