Don't Be Afraid of Legends – 10 Years of FIVA & Jazzrausch Big Band
About ten years ago, rapper FIVA and the Jazzrausch Big Band came together for a collaboration that became much more than a one-off project. With *Keine Angst vor Legenden*, they created a synthesis of rap and big band—intelligent, warm-hearted, and full of optimism. Rather than mere reinterpretations, the songs developed a sound all their own: at times deeply relaxed and groovy, at times powerful and direct, always carried by FIVA’s unmistakable view of the world.
To celebrate the album’s anniversary, FIVA and the Jazzrausch Big Band are performing in the atrium of the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk—with open ears, rich brass sections, and the same conviction as back then: that sometimes it’s better to step back than to get carried away.
