At Bergson: An exclusive guided tour of EARTH MATTERS and KALO, followed by dinner
Experience an evening where art and cuisine come together in a unique way: Our curators Jana Vedra and Alexander Timtschenko will take you on a guided tour of the group exhibition EARTH MATTERS, featuring works by Olaf Otto Becker, Andreas Greiner, Kathrin Linkersdorff, Maximilian Prüfer, and Tamiko Thiel (Galerie im Neubau, through August 2, 2026) and offer you a sneak peek at the exhibition KALO by Janine Mackenroth, opening on June 13 (Silos, through September 27, 2026).
While EARTH MATTERS invites you on an interdisciplinary journey through the natural sciences and explores the fragile interplay between humans, nature, and technology, the solo exhibition KALO addresses capitalism, monetary systems, the cultural meanings of colors and materials, as well as questions of sustainability and social inequality.
As heads of Bergson Gallery, the two curators offer you deep insights into the conceptual foundations of the exhibitions and highlight specific aspects of individual artistic positions. In this way, the works reveal their full thematic depth and invite you to see the world through different eyes.
Following the 60-minute tour, Jana Vedra and Alexander Timtschenko look forward to lively discussions over a three-course meal at Restaurant Zeitlang.
