Bergson Advisory Board Meeting

It is important to us to constantly inject new cultural energy into the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk with all its facets, from art, music and academy to culinary delights and events. To this end, we established the Bergson Advisory Board in our opening year, which brings together influential personalities from Munich's cultural life. In this way, we want to continuously intensify our appeal.

On January 19, 2026, the members of the Bergson Advisory Board met for the second time to exchange ideas at the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk. Chairwoman Silvia Amberger with the founding members and initiators Dr. Antonella Forte-Wolf (Art and Culture Sponsoring Manager Allianz), Prof. Dr. Thomas Girst (Head of International Cultural Engagement BMW Group), Prof. Dr. Magnus Resch (art market expert), Dr. Roger Diederen (Director Kunsthalle München) and Natalie Amiri (journalist and Iran expert) as well as Bergson Managing Directors Alexander Friedemann and Roman Sladek met with Bergson Program Director Maximilian Maier, Academy Director Benedikt Müller and Heads of Gallery Alexander Timtschenko and Jana Vedra to exchange ideas. The evening began in the Bergson Gallery, where the new exhibition EARTH MATTERS is currently being set up, and ended with a dinner on the stage of the Elektra Tonquartier.

The meeting was characterized by an open, constructive dialogue. The participants contributed their interdisciplinary experience and provided valuable input. The interdisciplinary exchange in particular was perceived as enriching and underlined the importance of the Advisory Board as a space for thought and resonance.

Overall, it became clear how important such formats are for joint reflection, the further development of ideas and the sustainable strengthening of the cultural sector. The suggestions gained form a solid basis for the next steps and illustrate the added value of continuous dialog.
