There are mainly practical reasons why Caroline sings. As she is constantly losing everything, an instrument would simply have been too expensive in the long run... But perhaps her voice was also "sung" to her by her mother: She was given three Filipino lullabies to listen to every evening as a child. They must be excellent. Because Caroline still doesn't know the end of the last one, she always fell asleep to it. In a way, she is still inspired by it today: She wants to create the feeling for her audience that time has stood still. That's not easy. But easy doesn't interest Caroline that much either. Outside of art, she likes to lift weights and test her limits in different areas. And in case things get gastronomically dicey at Bergson: Caroline has already catered for 160 people and taken over a restaurant from time to time.
