Prize Winners in Concert: Burghausen Jazz Week at Bergson
Ella Fitzgerald, Chris Barber, Chick Corea, Dave Brubeck—they’ve all performed in Burghausen. Since 1970, the International Jazz Week has been a highlight on every jazz fan’s calendar—and for young talents, too! That’s because the Burghausen European Young Jazz Award serves as a springboard for numerous young musicians from all over Europe.
In cooperation with the Burghausen Jazz Week, we’re presenting the current award winners (1st and 2nd place, 2027) in a double concert. Experience two outstanding young jazz acts in a great club atmosphere at our live club, Barbastelle.
Exactly who we’ll be welcoming to our stage on March 5, 2027, is still a mystery even to us, since the bands won’t compete in Burghausen at the Bergson until two days before the concert. So it’s going to be exciting!
The finalists will be determined by the end of 2026 and will then be announced here.
