The Jazzrausch Big Band has become known for its genre-defining techno-jazz programs. But at the end of the year, it becomes traditional - with humorous swing and plenty of Christmas spirit. Since its foundation in 2014, the band's repertoire has included its own Christmas program.

With the new program "On Christmas Eve", the Jazzrausch Bigband celebrates a festive premiere: composer Leonhard Kuhn dedicates himself to the theme of Christmas with completely new sounds - in the form of independent, modern compositions that alternate between a festive atmosphere and an energetic band sound

Far removed from mere Christmas folklore , "Am Weihnachtsabend" sounds both familiar and surprising. The Jazzrausch Bigband remains true to itself: full of joyful playing, sonic imagination and the irrepressible desire to take its audience with it - whether in techno clubs, concert halls or on Christmas Eve.
