Who owns the future - and who shapes it? This evening, artist Andreas Greiner and media artist Tamiko Thiel, whose works can currently be seenin our exhibition EARTH MATTERS, will be talking about this. Together with Billy Jacob (Kollektion888), Dr. Sabine Adler (Eres Foundation) and Bergson Gallery curators Jana Vedra and Alexander Timtschenko, they will discuss the creation of the exhibition - and the question of the conditions under which art can respond to planetary crises today.
The focus is not only on artistic practice, but also on the interplay between collection, foundation and curatorial concept. What role do private initiatives and non-profit institutions play in the promotion of art at the interface with science? How do sustainable collaborations come about? And what responsibility do cultural actors bear in the face of ecological and technological upheavals? An evening about visions, responsibility and the question of what future we are creating together.
