"Our Fathers" at Bergson: Natalie Amiri, Minu Barati, Shila Behjat and Düzen Tekkal in conversation

We are delighted to welcome Natalie Amiri, Minu Barati, Shila Behjat and Düzen Tekkal to Bergson for the presentation of their joint book "Our Fathers"!

The four women are award-winning journalists and activists - but also friends whose conversations often revolve around their fathers. Together they talk about the inner conflict they share: How can it be that the father relationship has carried them through the world - and at the same time makes them doubt themselves again and again? All four fathers have built a new life for themselves in Germany, but to this day they have not been able to return to their homes in Iran and Turkey. Now they are getting older and the authors are asking themselves and their fathers some questions for the first time. Their joint book is a great declaration of love, a touching search for traces and an invitation to face up to the relationship with one's own father.

Note: Natalie Amiri, Minu Barati and Shila Behjat will be there in person, Düzen Tekkal will be connected via live stream.
