Nature is not a party member
An evening with Harald Lesch and Axel Kleidon

Harald Lesch & Axel Kleidon: Climate and Energy at the Bergson Academy

Harald Lesch and Axel Kleidon are fed up: Time and again, decision-makers in politics and business try to pretend that the laws of nature can simply be ignored. Politicians are all too willing to believe in Harry Potter-style technical magic tricks. That’s why these two physicists are speaking plainly here: Nature doesn’t negotiate; it isn’t a party to the debate; it cannot be co-opted. This evening, the two physicists will explain what efficient energy use and climate protection mean, why energy is undervalued, and what measures a government that understands how nature works would take. In a nutshell: the most important physical facts about energy use, climate change, and what needs to be done await you at the Bergson Academy!
