KIOSK61 live at Bergson: The Munich debut of the Leipzig band
When your head is working overtime again, you don't need complicated answers, but a rhythm that picks you up. KIOSK61 is exactly that place. What began as a fixed idea between Hannah (vocals) and Melke (bass) among friends found its final form through an eBay classifieds ad with Seba (guitar) and Illia (drums). Today, the band is a musical meeting place where stories are swapped and people are invited to take a break from everyday life for a moment.
At home in the creative energy of Leipzig, KIOSK61 does not provide a rigid genre corset, but a hand-picked assortment of rock, pop, funk and blues. The result is "kiosk music": an uncomplicated mix of catchy melodies, danceable beats and German lyrics. It's music that doesn't force itself on you, but immediately sticks with you, regardless of whether you're relaxing on the balcony with crunchy flakes or going out with friends.
KIOSK61 has already impressively demonstrated that this sound doesn't just work in the rehearsal room. As support for acts such as 5Raumfenster, the French noise rockers Lysistrata and the Israeli power formation Haze'evot, the band has shown that it playfully bridges genres and picks up any audience with its authentic joy of playing.
After their first EP "Skippen" saw the light of day in December 2025, KIOSK61 are now shifting up two gears. The ink is dry under the new recordings: Their debut album will be released in the fall and take the Kiosk sound to the next level - live at Bergson and thus for the very first time in Munich!
