Katrin Eigendorf: „Erzählen, was ist“
Reporting on the Front Lines in a Time of War

The most personal book by the well-known ZDF special correspondent and SPIEGEL bestselling author

Katrin Eigendorf travels to places where the world is in turmoil. At the Bergson Academy, she reads from her book, *Erzählen, was ist*:

She speaks with the Taliban, accompanies Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines, and tells the stories of courageous women in Afghanistan who teach in underground schools:
These are existential, and often painful, encounters with people whose stories the reporter shares. War can only be reported on up close—not from a distance—through firsthand observation and empathy. With great empathy and a keen sense of reality, she makes even complex issues understandable. In doing so, she opens up multifaceted perspectives that do not leave us feeling powerless, but rather provide guidance in an increasingly complex global situation.

We look forward to an exciting book presentation, during which there will, of course, be time for your questions for the author!
