The Jazzrausch Bigband has made an international name for itself with its unique blend of jazz, electronic music and orchestral sounds. "Brahms's Breakdown" continues the band's tradition of interpreting classical works in a unique way, catapulting the music of the world-famous composer, pianist and conductor Johannes Brahms into the 21st century.

Based on Brahms's emotional art songs (poems set to music, composed for a singing voice with piano accompaniment), the album fuses big band sound, club beats and virtuoso improvisations to create a captivating listening and sensory experience full of melodic beauty and romantic expressiveness.
