In 2020, artists Janine Mackenroth and Bianca Kennedy published*I Love Women in Art*, the first anthology dedicated to women artists in Germany. The reason behind it was as simple as it was surprising: Until then, there had been no book that told the story of women artists in Germany in this way.

The *I Love Women in Art* anthology is intended not only to highlight the continuing underrepresentation of women in the arts, but above all to serve as an art guide to the wonderful female artists and cultural creators in our country.

Six years later, the book is being published in English for the first time. We’re celebrating this occasion at Bergson! Together with the book’s contributors and guests, we’ll celebrate the English edition and introduce the project to an international audience.

We’ll start at 6:30 p.m. with a guided tour of the solo exhibition *KALO* by artist Janine Mackenroth at the Silos.

At 7:30 p.m., the book presentation will follow, featuring a reading (in German and English) and an artist talk at the Barbastelle. The discussion will be moderated by Bergson gallery owner Jana Vedra. After a Q&A session, a Bergson DJ will ensure a great party.
