Body of Light: DeMo26’s Grand Salon Fashion Show at Bergson
One creative hub. Four schools. One location. Three days of design, fashion, and creative energy.
For the first time, graduates from all four schools under the umbrella of the German Master School of Fashion / Design School Munich will showcase their creative energy and artistic development at Bergson under the title “Express Creative Growth.”
Exhibitions, presentations, and fashion shows bring to life the creative, conceptual, and technical breadth of the school center. On display is what emerges when design, concept, and craftsmanship come together.
Salon Fashion Show “Body of Light”
A key focus of DeMo26 is the fashion shows presented by the various departments. The master classes will present the moderated salon fashion show “Body of Light” on Thursday and Friday, July 23 and 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. each day. The in-house collection is dedicated to the theme of light as the source of all life and unfolds botanical imagery, light phenomena, and the interplay of light and shadow.
The presentation is complemented by the“Designing Lightness” project from the Patternmaking class, in which the class developed functional outdoor jackets in collaboration with Sympatex. The focus is on exploring lightness as a design, functional, and ecological principle.
Tip: The Communication Design exhibition is also open from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
