Kuna and Elli on a Musical Journey Around the World
Train engineer Kuna Sommerwetter suddenly finds herself facing an uncertain future: The city council has decided to retire her beloved steam locomotive, Elli!
For over 20 years, Kuna and Elli have been taking passengers to school, to work, or for a stroll in town. To Kuna, Elli is much more than just a locomotive—she is her faithful companion and best friend.
Saddened by the farewell, Kuna falls asleep and begins to dream. And suddenly, Elli starts moving again! Together, the two set off on a fantastic journey through the countries of the world. They meet people Kuna has never seen before, discover foreign cultures, and hear music and sounds they’ve never heard before. But even the most beautiful dream must come to an end someday…
What will become of Elli when Kuna wakes up again? Will the beloved steam locomotive ever be allowed to run again?
Hop on board and join Kuna and Elli as they set off on their grand musical adventure!
