Bergson Phil’: An Evening Full of Humor

This concert combines literary texts and music that lift your spirits and showcase humor in all its forms: dark, crude, earthy, subtle, sarcastic, cryptic, understated, and whimsical.

The Bergson Phil’ perform music, some of which was composed specifically for this program, such as a witty set of variations on “Mein Hut, der hat drei Ecken” or a grand swing number for orchestra. You’ll also experience well-known gems from the repertoire, such as the overture to the opera “Donna Diana” or “Till Eulenspiegel” by Richard Strauss.

To complement this, Maximilian Maier presents literary texts ranging from Martial to Tucholsky, from Twain to Polt, from the Jeeves universe to Mallorca-themed texts from the Ballermann.
