Beethoven meets DJ (NEUROPE Festival) - The double feature in the concert hall and Atrium
Das Doublefeature in Konzertsaal und Atrium
Beethoven trifft DJ (NEUROPE Festival)

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) was a revolutionary in music - this is already evident in his First Symphony. Still clearly rooted in the classical period, he was already testing tonal and emotional boundaries in it, starting the symphony in a completely unusual way and deliberately ignoring comfortable conventions - which certainly disturbed the Viennese audience at the premiere in 1800. Beethoven remained true to this radical approach throughout his life. It culminated in the 9th Symphony with its "Ode to Joy", when he opened up a completely new dimension to the symphonic genre by using a choir.

Sebastian Reier, alias DJ Booty Carrell, also wants to open up new dimensions. After Beethoven's 1st Symphony in the Elektra Tonquartier, he will play in the Atrium, the huge former Kesselhalle, and present his music, which combines inspirations from all parts of the world.

Whether you want to dance, reflect on the concert or share your thoughts: DJ Booty Carrell offers you an intoxicating end to the evening.
