The versatile live club Barbastelle is open!

There's a new reason to drop by the Bergson: The Barbastelle, our versatile live club in the basement! Named after the rare pug bat(Barbastella, barbastellus), which has found its winter quarters in the basement, the Barbastelle combines modern design with coziness. Warm, earthy tones and fine materials such as wood, stone and velvet create an inviting atmosphere in which you can experience a varied program - whether it's a discussion evening, comedy and cabaret events, a visit to the bar or a concert!

Every Thursday, the Barbastelle becomes the location for exciting discussions and inspiring conversations. As part of the Bergson Academy, expert talks on the important topics of our time take place here, accompanied by lively discussions. For all podcast lovers, there is the Bergson Culture Podcast, which is recorded live here.

The Barbastelle opens its doors to connoisseurs on Friday and Saturday evenings: Fine cocktails and bar food are served from 19:00. The menu includes delicious and seasonally changing snacks such as:

• Mountain cheese with olives and grissini - A classic that goes perfectly with a glass of wine or a cocktail.
• Truffle fries - For those who like it a little more sophisticated.
• Pastrami sandwich or chestnut and mushroom ravioli - Hearty, spicy and just the thing for the bigger appetite.

We also serve an impressive selection of Jazzrausch Songbook Signature Drinks inspired by the albums of our resident orchestra. For example, the "I want to be a Banana" comes with rhum agricole, coffee liqueur, banana, coconut milk and nutmeg. Non-alcoholic cocktails are also prepared with a great deal of creativity and are a highlight in their own right. Whether it's an aperitif, an after-dinner drink or a relaxed evening - the Barbastelle welcomes you. Reservations are not necessary, so just drop by and enjoy!

Attention music lovers: The Barbastelle is the perfect venue for smaller concerts. You can also enjoy cabaret and comedy events here.
