Bergson Metal Fest – Recap
Bergson Metal Fest: 900 guests celebrate to live music at the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk
When thunderous breakdowns echo through the atrium and the Beletage, guitar riffs clash with the Bergson’s raw industrial charm, and around 900 guests party together—even crowd-surfing—one thing is clear: It’s Bergson Metal Fest again! For the second time, the Bergson transformed into a gathering place for metal fans from Munich and beyond. With plenty of live music, a festival vibe, and an atmosphere that lingers long after the event.
Four bands will create a festival atmosphere and deliver unforgettable live performances
With Devil May Care, DRØVER, Elwood Stray, and Our Mirage, Bergson brought four bands to the stage that impressively demonstrated just how diverse modern metal can be. From uncompromising metalcore to brutal hardcore to melodic post-hardcore: the lineup had something for everyone. In front of the stage, people were dancing, moshing, and crowd-surfing.
Metal Yoga, drinks, and culinary delights round out the Metal Fest
The Bergson Metal Fest is about more than just music. Between concerts, the metal yoga sessions with Steffi Walter-Seipt offered a chance to catch your breath before heading back into the mosh pit. There were also cool drinks, delicious food, and perfect summer weather: the ideal mix for a relaxed festival afternoon, which wrapped up in the evening with a small after-show party featuring DJ Bazi.
A community that sticks together
What makes the Bergson Metal Fest special isn’t just the music, but the community. Despite the mosh pits, circle pits, and crowd surfing, you could feel everywhere just how respectful and considerate the attendees were toward one another. Anyone who fell was immediately helped back to their feet. Strangers became festival friends, and a shared passion for the music brought everyone together. It’s precisely this sense of community that defines the metal scene.
To be continued in November
The many enthusiastic responses from our guests confirm that metal has long since found its place at Bergson. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the artists, visitors, colleagues, and contributors who made this day possible.
One thing is already certain: This wasn’t the last Bergson Metal Fest! The festival series will kick off its next round as early as November. We’re super excited for it!
