"Andi, mogst ned amoi Drrrombädn spuin?" This, or something similar, must have been Andreas' reaction when he was handed a trumpet by the local brass band for the first time. This encounter cannot be chalked up to "pure coincidence". It was a momentous one: Andreas not only became a trumpet player, but also a composer. Conveying the emotional power of music in all its diversity and depth is always his primary goal. However, it must not be too perfect, because it is precisely in imperfection that the fascination of art lies.
