Julius is the Jazzrausch big band's best friend - no matter how impossible they often behave. Without him, a lot of things wouldn't run smoothly in this band. Julius always says what he thinks and is sometimes even right. He is an expert at asking questions that are best answered by silence. He is rather reserved on stage, but still has control over how a concert goes. With him, things rarely go wrong; without him, it's almost always a nail-biter. This is mainly due to the fact that he can be lead trumpet player, set colleague, set-up helper, mood barometer and band mascot all at the same time. Most of the time he smokes during all of this and even then he shines with his extraordinary reliability. Julius has a genuine interest in his fellow human beings and is always at our side as a loyal friend. If the Jazzrausch Bigband were ever very drunk, he would take them home and tuck them in.
